Visit the official website: First go to the official UIDAI website, to make updates and corrections to the Aadhar card
Click on the update link: The home page of UIDAI will be opened and there, you can see Aadhaar Services and then ‘Update your Aadhar Data’ option
One can witness three options 1. Online request. 2. Request by post. 3. Annexure for an address change by MP/MLA or gazetted officers.
How to change address in Aadhar card online – Online Mode
- Click on the option ‘Update Aadhaar Data’
- A page gets opened and there the steps and basic details will be given related to the update
- At the below of the page, an option ‘To submit your request online please, Click Here’ will be presented, click over there
- Fill in your Aadhaar number on the login page. Click Send OTP option and fill in the Captcha. An OTP number will be sent to the registered mobile number
- Now choose the address option to update and click on Submit
- Provide the personal details whatever asked on the screen and then hit on the ‘submit update request’
- Review the details given by you and if you want to change anything then use modify option and if not then go with the ‘I confirm’ option and then Proceed
- Upload the required documents to change your address in the Aadhar card
- After the successful upload of documents, a page will be opened for ‘BPO services provider selection and request submission’. Select the fast services and then submit
- Now, you can see a page that shows your update request completed. Download it or take a printout of it, as per your wish
