Increased DA for Central government employees!
The central government has raised the bar of this long-awaited critical demand by employees in the central government. With this increase, the salaries of government employees will be in hand every month.

Today, Union Minister Anurag Thakur announced that the demand measure (Dearness Allowance or Evaluation) for central government employees has been raised from 17 percent to 28 percent with effect from July 1, 2024.
What is dearness allowance?
The Dearness Allowance is an important part of the salary paid to the employees of the Central Government and when this demand is increased, a substantial amount will also increase in the salary.
Central Government employees
The central government has now approved the hike, which has long been in demand by federal government employees. It is noteworthy that the increase in this demand is also available to pensioners.
Corona treatment
The federal government banned the increase in demand in April last year and used the money for corona treatment. Thus for the past one year there have been no central government employees who received dearness allowance.
DA rises to 28 percent
The demand for central government employees has been raised from 17 percent to 28 percent in a statement issued today. The increase in demand is about 11 percent, which will increase the salaries of government employees.
Salary increase
According to the announcement made by the Central Government today, when the demand is calculated at 28 percent, the minimum amount of Rs. 2000 to Rs. 6300 will be added to their salaries
7th Pay Commission
That is, according to the 7th Pay Commission, the basic salary of a central government employee will be between Rs 18,000 and Rs 56,900.
According to this, the person who received a basic salary of 18,000 rupees will receive Rs. 3,060 in dearness allowance till date and will get Rs. 5040 by this new dearness allowance increment.

For Basic central Govt. Employee :
With this 11 per cent increase in dearness allowance, a beginner central government employee will get an additional Rs 1,980 per month, which is an additional Rs 23,760 per year.
For Senior Central Govt. employees :
Those earning a maximum basic salary of Rs 56,900 will get Rs 15,932 from the previous Rs.9673 as a dearness alliowance. That means he will get an additional Rs 6,259 per month and Rs 75,108 per year.
HBA SCHEME OF CENTRAL GOVT:
The central government is offering the HBA (house building advance) scheme to 52 lakh employees. It is expected to benefit 52 lakh central government employees. It was initiated on October 2020.
This will be a great opportunity to realize the home dream of the central government employees. This is because it allows employees to get loans at lower interest rates.
LOW INTEREST ON HBA SCHEME :
The interest rate on the HBA scheme has been reduced from 9.5% to 7.9% for government employees. However employees should also keep in mind that this plan will only be operational until March 31, 2024.
