According to Sridevi, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy – Party General Secretary – had threatened her life due to the attack on her office by Ysrcp party cadres on Saturday in Tadikonda constituency, Guntur district.
The MLA has declared she will file a complaint against TDP General Secretary and Andhra Pradesh government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna with the National Scheduled Caste Commission. Furthermore, she expressed support for Amaravati farmers who oppose TDP plans for trifurcating state capital.
On Friday, Ysrcp party MLAs Anam Ramanarayana Reddy (Venkatagiri Assembly Constituency), Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy (Udayagiri Assembly Constituency), Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy (Nellore Rural Assembly Constituency) and Vundvalli Sridevi (Tadikonda Assembly Constituency) were suspended from the party due to allegations that they engaged in cross voting and received offers of Rs 15-20 crore from TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu (Venkatagiri Assembly Constituency).

The Ysrcp party has announced the suspension of four of its MLAs after suspected cross voting led to TDP winning one seat against ruling YSRCP in Thursday’s MLC quota elections.
