SBI .. Failure to attach these documents will affect your banking service .. Please update soon ..!
From opening a bank account to opening a Demat account and filing income tax today, the ban card is seen as the most essential document.
So if your PAN number, which is one of the most important documents like this, is not linked to the Aadhaar, there is a possibility of problems in banking services and many financial transactions soon.
This is because the Central Government has made it mandatory to combine the PAN number and the Aadhaar number. This was postponed several times due to the Corona curfew.
Multiple time extension
The Income Tax Department has now extended the deadline to September 30, having previously announced that the merger would take place by June 30. The government continues to insist that ban cards not affiliated with Aadhar will be declared inoperable and fined.
What is the impact?
When opening a bank account and applying for a credit and debit card, it is necessary to open a Demat account, file an income tax return, and if a person deposits more than Rs 50,000 a day in a bank, a mutual fund investment, or provide bond details when purchasing debt securities. Thus in many places, the pan is seen as a necessary one.
If the banned number required for such important tasks becomes inactive, many important services, including many banking services, may be affected. Banks are asking customers to link their PAN and Aadhaar details as soon as possible to avoid the above problems.
