Tokyo Olympic: continuous attempt … Unreal Indian hockey team…Bronze winning record!
The Indian hockey team won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. The 32nd Olympic Games are fully swung within Tokyo, Tokyo. The men’s hockey semifinals were held recently. India and Belgium clashed. Belgium continued to perform well, winning 5-2 and advancing to the final. Defeat in the semi-finals gave India a chance to compete for the bronze medal.
India’s victory
India and Germany competed for the bronze medal today. In the beginning, the German team performed tremendously and scored a goal in the first minute. As India struggled too, Simran Jith scored the first goal to level the match at 1-1. This was followed by two goals in the 22nd and 24th minutes to give Germany a 3-1 lead.
Next, the Indian players started playing aggressively. The German team could not cope with this. Harman Breath scored two goals to level the match at 3-3. India then scored in the 31st and 34th minutes to take a 5-3 lead. Simran Jit and Rupinder Singh both scored the goals. Next Germany managed to score only one goal. Thus, India won 5-4. The Indian men’s hockey team has won the medal after 41 years.

The Indian women’s team lost in the bronze medal match against Britain at the Tokyo Olympics. The result of this exciting match against the Indian team saddened the fans.
Both teams actively tried to score in the first quarter. Indian women’s team keeper Savita Punia performed well and thwarted the efforts of the British players. Neither team scored within the first quarter-hour.
Britain dominated the first half of the second quarter, scoring two goals and sculpting those team players. But the Indian team scored three goals in a row to take a 3-2 lead.
Thus the shock awaited the Indian team, which erupted in excitement at the end of the third quarter. The British team performed well and tried to score. Keeper Savita Punia blocked it well, but the team scored a goal to level the score at 3 – 3.
