The National Nutrition Week was first observed by American Dietetic Association in 1975. The central government of India launched its campaign in 1982 to bring awareness in the people about nutrition importance and to encourage them to develop a healthy lifestyle.
“Feeding smart right from the start” is the theme of National Nutrition Week 2024. This year, the government wants to focus on the importance of child nutrition and how kids can benefit from a nourishing diet right from birth.
