On Friday, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari stated that he receives a monthly royalty of Rs 4 lakh from YouTube because his reading videos on the site were increasingly viewed during the pandemic.
Mr. Gadkari also stated that his ministry had begun a review of the progress of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (DME) in Bharuch by rating road construction contractors and consultants.
The road transport and road minister stated during the COVID-19 that he did two things.
“I was a chef who started cooking at home and giving lectures via video conference.” More than 950 workshops have been delivered, including lectures on YouTube for students at foreign universities.
“My YouTube channel has grown in popularity, and YouTube now pays me royalties of Rs 4 lakh per month,” he explained.
Mr. Gadkari, who is known for his forthright opinions, stated that the good people of India are not recognized.
The minister also emphasized the importance of a modern and high-quality road network for economic development and job creation.
In Gujarat, he claims that 423 kilometers of road are being built for 35,100 crore. Mr. Gadkari stated that the expressway will have 60 main bridges, 17 traffic junctions, 17 flyovers, and 8 bridge roads (ROBs).
