In the year 1948, the UNGA (United Nations General Assembly) adopted the UDHR (Universal Declaration of Human Rights). The UDHR declaration is the most translated one in the world which is available in around 500+ languages

The Human Rights Day 2024 theme is reducing inequalities and improving human rights. The theme of this year relates to Article 1 of UDHR which says ‘All human beings are born free and equal in both rights and dignity.’ The heart of human rights is equality and non-discrimination.
