The Indian IT department has decided to invite all the employees to the office as they have been working from home for almost 2 years and most of the employees have been given Corona vaccine by the company itself.
But despite the increase in work efficiency in inviting employees to the office, IT companies and employees are suffering from the inability to make a firm decision because of the increased risk of corona infections.
In this context, TCS, Infosys, the country’s leading IT service providers, have explained the current position of HCL IT staff on Work From Office results.
Corona infection
At the same time as the corona epidemic in India is declining, the Govt vaccine is being given more and more to the people. Thus people are rapidly returning to normalcy, especially as the school is open for children. IT staff are still working safely from home.
Work From Home
TCS, Infosys, HCL and Wipro have been forced to call their employees to the office as foreign clients of Indian IT companies are bringing Indian employees to the office as offices around the world are fully open.
TCS
TCS was the first Indian IT company to offer Work From Home to all its employees in January, when corona infection was most prevalent in 2020. It is also currently the first to invite employees to the office.
TCS Plan
About 70 percent of TCS ‘total employees have been fully vaccinated, while 95 percent have taken a single dose of the vaccine. Milin Lakkad, chief human resources officer at TCS, said the decision was made to call staff to the office by the end of this year after staff safety was assured.
Infosys
Unlike TCS, Infosys has announced at the end of its quarter that it will operate on a hybrid model without inviting all employees to the office. Thus half the employees have to work from home and the rest of the employees come to the office to work. Otherwise it is likely to run in rotation.
HCL
HCL, which also has the largest staff in Tamil Nadu, has invited its top employees to the office. Ordered to come to the office at least twice a week.
The measure will increase by the end of this year, said VV Apparao, chief human resources officer at HCL.
Wipro
Wipro has been inviting all its employees to the office since September. Wipro chairman Rishad Premji said all Wipro employees would be called to the office as soon as they were vaccinated.

Corona infection 2nd wave

Power cut problem
In this situation, all the leading IT service companies in the country are taking the necessary precautionary measures to deal with the power outage.
Power Backup
Not only this, it also announces that Power Backup Ready for employees working from home and that the service to overseas customers should not be interrupted at any time. This is not only a shocking thing among IT staff but has become a huge burden.
Bihar and Jharkhand

Coal shortage
