Sri Lanka is reopening for Indians who are fully vaccinated, and a tempting offer is also there. As per the reports, Sri Lankan Airlines has announced a “buy one get one free” offer for Indian travellers on their Colombo return tickets. This offer will be valid until 31st October 2024.
Now, Indian travellers who got vaccinated for two doses can easily travel to Sri Lanka without any quarantine, but upon arrival, you will be tested.
As per the latest rules, the traveller should be fully vaccinated, with the second shot taken at least 14 days before the Sri Lanka trip. The person will have to get an RT-PCR test in the hotel. In case, the result comes as positive, that person will be taken to the health care centres.
There is no need for quarantine if the traveller tests negative for Covid-19. But they have to follow the covid guidelines such as hand sanitisation and social distancing at all times.
Here is one more piece of news too, that is Sri Lanka is accepting all vaccines available in India.
