Vijayawada Central Assembly constituency
Vijayawada Central Assembly constituency is a constituency in NTR district of Andhra Pradesh that elects representatives to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in India. It is one of the seven assembly segments of the Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency.
Malladi Vishnu is the current MLA of the constituency, having won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from YSR Congress Party. As of 2019, there are a total of 269,859 electors in the constituency. The constituency was established in 2008, as per the Delimitation Orders (2008).

Uma began his political career as a party worker (Karya Kartha) of the Telugu Desam Party and rose to the ranks of the state general secretary. He was elected MLA of the Vijayawada Central constituency, that consists of more than 5 lakh members and is a prominent and a distinct leader in the statevidual Uma Maheshwara Rao, has gained tremendous support from amongst the youth, women and the poor owing to his pragmatic policies and commitment to the party’s core ideology.
Vellampalli Srinivas
Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao is an Indian politician, currently a Member of the Legislative Assembly.
He was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, the son of Vellampalli Suryanarayana. He was elected as MLA in 2009 & 2019 in Andhra Pradesh. He Served as Endowments Minister in the Andhra Pradesh Government.
