Zypp Electric has announced the launch of D2C, India’s first EV brand, a direct business for its customers. Further details can be found below.
Zypp Electric is India’s leading EV logistics tech delivery start-up. One such EV start-up has just announced the launch of India’s first EV D2C business.
Zypp Electric, which claims to be on track to achieve 100% electrification of Last Mile logistics, handles last-mile televisions from stores to customers’ homes for a wide variety of companies, including e-commerce companies, grocery stores, restaurants and restaurants, with no carbon emissions from businesses across all sectors.
For this, Zypp Electric is using the use of electric vehicles, service time corrections, and IoT-powered removable battery infrastructure. The EV start-up currently owns more than 2,000 electric scooters. With the help of these, Zip Electric makes about 5 lakh deliveries every month.
Last-mile delivery is becoming the fastest growing business in India. Statistics show that by 2025, the number of people involved in such delivery will increase to about 6.1 million across India. Last-Mile Delivery begins with the delivery of even the smallest items in size.
The weight and quantity of goods delivered may vary depending on the company providing the products. Similarly, as the number of people ordering goods at home is increasing day by day, so are the orders for Last-Mile Deliverymen.
Zypp Electric introduced Zip Cargo as the first P2B heavy electric scooter on the market in July 2024. Introduced for last-mile exports and imports, it can carry a maximum weight of up to 250 kg. Launched at a starting price of Rs 59,000, it is equipped with a 40 amp battery.
It is capable of driving a scooter for a distance of 120 km on a single charge. It also comes with various battery systems that receive removable batteries. As it can withstand heavy loads, it is suitable for carrying and delivering heavy items such as large water bottles, cylinders, very large food bags & cloth bags.
This is why the production company calls the Zypp Cargo electric scooter a “two-wheeler truck”. Zyp Electric had received more than 5,000 orders for this e-scooter, which was on display at the last EV exhibition. To date, 300 units have been delivered to customers in 9 regions of India.
Zypp Electric offers a wide range of investment and leasing opportunities. This allows anyone to purchase or lease electric scooters / carriers under the Zypp Entrepreneurship Program. Through this you can get guaranteed monthly income / rent.
Compared to other investment plans, this plan is about 21% more returns and may not have to worry about market fluctuations. In addition, Zypp allows its delivery riders to purchase the scooter in simple monthly installments without additional interest for a period of 2-3 years. It also allows each delivery rider to earn more and make a higher monthly profit.
Akash Gupta, Founder and CEO of Zypp Electric, said, “We are very proud to have launched India’s first EV D2C business. He said our goal is to achieve 100% electrification in Last Mile Logistics and to help businesses across many sectors become pollution free.
