REVIEW:
- This 124-minute film is fast-paced, well-acted, and poses some intriguing themes regarding loyalty.
- You’ve basically seen this if you’ve ever seen a terrible action film with a shockingly packed cast.
- spy action/thriller that is typically generic but surprisingly interesting.
- Continually mediocre action film The 355 is the cinematic equivalent of rounding up the best Formula 1 drivers and handing them the keys to a Yugo.
- Despite the outstanding performances of its ensemble, this espionage thriller is devoid of thrills and inventiveness.
- The fundamental issue is that Kinberg, who is a better screenwriter and producer than a filmmaker, cast award-winning performers in minor roles.
- Unfortunately, The 355 is a horrible picture, despite how much I wanted to appreciate it and for how many reasons.
- The film has all of the makings of unchallenging escapist entertainment, but it’s far too familiar to stand out.
