Jersey Movie Story
Jersey starts in present-day Bengaluru. The movie is about Arjun Talwar, who was a prolific run-scorer in his heydays. He stopped playing cricket at 26 years of age. Arjun lost his job and needs to give a bribe to get the job back but he refuses to give it. On his son’s wish, he again wants to play cricket. What happened next? Sachet & Parampara’s music is average and Anirudh Ravichander’s BGM gives an adrenaline rush. The cinematography by Anil Mehta is splendid. VFX could have been improved and the editing is poor. Director Gowtham Tinnanuri did a fair job with this remake. He gave his best in the emotional quotient.
