A movie on former PM of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was announced on June 28, 2024. The movie is titled Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon Yeh Desh Rehna Chahiye Atal. Based on the book, The Untold Vajpayee: Politician And Paradox by Ullekh NP, the movie is set to release in Christmas 2024.
Movie on former PM AB Vajpayee announced
A partial glimpse of a movie, based on former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was unveiled on Tuesday. Titled Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon Yeh Desh Rehna Chahiye – Atal, the movie is based on Ullekh NP’s book Untold Vajpayee: Politician & Paradox. The film shooting will go on in early 2024 and will release during Christmas of the same year. The release date is going to coincide with the 99th birth anniversary of Shri Vajpayee. Producers Sandeep Singh and Vinod Bhanushali have joined hands for the project. The cast of the movie has not been confirmed yet.
About Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the PM of India in the year 1996. However, he had to resign within 13 days after the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) failed to gather enough support from other parties to obtain a majority. Vajpayee came back as the Prime Minister of India in the years 1998 and 1999 for second and third terms, respectively. AB Vajpayee passed away at the age of 93 on August 16, 2018.
