Popular Assamese actor Kishor Das passed away on July 2, 2024 (Saturday). The actor was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment in a hospital located in Chennai.
Earlier, he had undergone treatment in Guwahati for a long and later moved to Chennai in March 2024 for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, the reports claimed that Kishor Das also suffered from Covid-19 and died because of its complications.

Born in the year 1991, the actor has starred in over 300 music videos, out of which one of his super-hit songs “Turut Turut” became Assam’s top-viewed video.
He is well-known for his roles in TV shows such as “Bidhata and Bandhun”. He has also participated in “India’s Got Talent”, and “Dance India Dance”.
Kishor Das won the “Mr. Photogenic” title and was the first runner-up in “Model Hunt”. He also won the Candid Young Achievement Award in 2019, and the Most Popular Actor 2020-2024 in the Asianet Icon Award.
