MP School College Reopening: The schools and colleges of Madhya Pradesh are about to resume offline classes. As there is a downfall in the number of covid-19 cases, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh has announced the MP school college reopening. Schools of Madhya Pradesh are going to start from July 25 with 50% capacity, for classes 11 and 12. The colleges of MP are going to begin from August 1, at 50% capacity.
CM has also said that if there is no possibility of a third wave till August 15 then we will take the decision of schools reopening for smaller classes also. The current announcement is for classes 11 and 12 only.

For Schools (11 & 12 Classes): 25th July 2024 (50% capacity)
For Colleges: 01st August 2024 (50% capacity)
The private schools’ associations are also demanding the government to reopen the schools. This association had demanded that the classes have to start for the 9th to 12th classes students, with covid-19 protocols.
Earlier, CM Singh had said that the opening of the educational institutions will be open by considering the vaccination numbers. Students, faculty, and non-teaching staff of the educational institutes must get at least one covid-19 vaccine dose, before entering the campus. Already, a high-level committee had given nod to the reopening of institutions. However, the final decision is of CM Shivraj Singh only.
A low number of covid-19 cases are recording in the Madhya Pradesh state. Only 20 cases per day are recorded recently. In the last few days, Bhopal and Indore witnessed about 10 cases only.
