Navarasa Review: Legendary Director Mani Ratnam and Jeyendra have gotten together for ‘Navarasa’ for helping the workers of the film industry whose livelihoods have been affected by the covid-1 pandemic. Top stars have joined in this effort and brought life to Netflix’s anthology ‘Navarasa’. So, let’s see the review of every story of the Navarasa Tamil Movie. Here, is the Navarasa Review.
Navarasa Review For Ethiri
Bejoy Nambiar directed this one. Vijay Sethupathi, Revathi, Ashok Selvan, Vivek Prasanna, and Prakash Raj are featured in this story. The story begins with Vijay Sethupathi entering the teacher’s (Revathi) household and murdering her husband played by Prakash Raj. After that, he escapes to a village. He feels haunting by a manifestation of his victim questioning his actions. So, he then goes back to the teacher’s house to seek forgiveness but there lies the answer of who is a real killer and why the life was lost.
Ethiri – Navarasa story is powerful but the message that it conveys surely lingers in the minds of the viewer. Bejoy Nambiar succeeds with effective storytelling.
The performance of the main players Revathi, Vijay Sethupathi, and Prakash Raj is a plus. Govind Vasantha’s background score is good. All the way, Ethiri is a winner.
Navarasa Review For Inmai
Inmai starring Siddharth, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Paval Navageethan deals with fear. Rathindran R Prasad made this psychological thriller with a scientific twist.
A young man named Farooq (Siddarth) sees a wealthy widow Wahida (Parvathy Thiruvothu). Initially, she is attracted to him. Later, she finds that he is a supernatural being some to punishes her for her past crimes. What happens next is the riveting watch.
Undoubtedly, Parvathy Thiruvothu is one of the best Indian cinema actresses. Her expressions are a sheer pleasure to watch. The ever-dependable Siddharth carries off a college youth without any fuss. Ammu Abhirami acted equally to the rest of the cast.
Finally, Inmai is an engaging watch with twists and the music by Vishal Bharadwaj is also soul-stirring.
Navarasa Review For Project Agni
Arvind Swami and Prasanna played the lead roles in Project Agni, which was directed by Karthik Naren. This one represents the Abdutha (wonder). The story starts with an independent scientist calling his friend from ISRO personally to demonstrate his dangerous findings. Poorna plays Arvind’s wife role, who is only seen in his subconsciousness.
The plot progresses well for an episode with only two characters having a scientific conversation. The screenplay proceeds slowly and ends with a bang. Aravind Swamy and Prasanna wonder us with their performances.
Karthik Naren has tried to comprising many innovative and complex scientific theories into a single idea. The climax twist will work well. Coming to the conclusion, Project Agni is a mystery sci-fi that is not everyone’s cup of tea but surely blows the audience’s minds, who are interested in this type of genre.
Navarasa Review For Thunintha Pin
Navarasa Thunintha Pin’s story is all about Valor. Vetri joins newly in the special task force. While facing an ambush in the forest area, his courage and guts are tested. After shooting the head of the so-called Naxalites, he has given the task of transporting him to headquarters. What happens next is Thuninthe Pin’s story.
Kishore has done a good job as always. Anjali gave her hundred percent in the loving wife character. Atharva has also done very well and gave his best. Apart from small plotholes, this episode of Navarasa is a decent watch. Director Sarjan’s attempt has not failed.
Navarasa Review For Guitar Kambi Mela Nindru
Nintru above the guitar strings is the short-lived love story of two musicians Kamal and Nethra.
The film begins with the word attraction and ends with love. Kamal – Two Grammy Award winners narrates the story of his second love affair with 22-year-old 22-year-old Nethra to a London audience. The instant feeling between them steals the show because Kamal is overwhelmed by the similarities between her and her mother.
Role of Kamal reminded Vaaranam ayiram Surya. We can’t believe that Guitar Kambi Mela Nindru was created almost a decade after the millennium. Surya’s eyes speak a million words as Netra feels. The scenes where he plays his instruments are definitely an eye feast to his fans. On the other hand, Prayaga Martin lived eye to eye with her unique style and romantic eyes. Songs on the other hand will definitely penetrate our hearts and make us live in love.
This is not to be underestimated by the image and love of Gautam Menon. The notes he uses from his previous films immediately remind us of those pictures and take us on a roller coaster ride. The idea of expressing the beauty of the identity is admirable. The intimate laws of the instruments really excite us. Above all, he talks about the moments we cherish in love. The final touch of Gautam’s voice makes us happy and completes the whole picture in two sentences.
Overall, this is a decent love story that we can all relate to. Vintage GVM is back with its own essence depicting love in a unique and natural way. Though the film appears slow, the rapid love affair between Kamal and Nethra is noticeable. “Guitar Kambi Mela Nindru “ will make your heart feel tingling.
Peace – Navarasa Review
The Sri Lankan Tamil issue is making a comeback recently with the ‘Family Man 2’ web series and the ‘Enjoy Enjoy’ of tea and knowledge. Any Tamil collection, without touching it, will be considered incomplete. Karthik Supraj, who recently became a super hit on Netflix ‘Jagame Tantra’, drew the attention of Sri Lankan Tamils by highlighting this issue.
In peace, he puts forward war-torn Sri Lanka, thereby raising many questions, including the human cost of war. The plot revolves around a bunker in a war zone and conversations between the Tamil people who occupy it. The soldiers in it face a dangerous choice when a boy seeks their help to rescue his brother.
Starting with ‘Pizza’ and ‘Jigarthanda’, Bobby Simha had a regular presence in Subramaniam’s films. Simha, who is never disappointed with his performance, also plays the lead role in ‘Peace’.
Why the war for land? Aren’t their men on both sides? Are human lives more valuable than other creatures? Let us ask these questions and more within 30 minutes before concluding with the last question of what is peace. Gautham Vasudev Menon plays the ‘master’ who is the most experienced person in the bunker
All the characters are in great pain during the war and are still fighting. Simha’s character Moon represents them all. He lost his mother and brother in the war when he was helpless and is now trying to help someone else in a similar situation. The conflict in his mind ends when he realizes that all human beings have little mercy. Is his realization real? We do not know.
Navarasa Review For Summer of 92
Navarasa – Summer of 92, based on an authentic story is directed by Priyadarshan and stars Yogi Babu and Ramya Nambesan. Yogi Babu plays the renowned comedy actor Veluswamy (Yogi Babu), who recalls his student days, as the chief guest in his village school.
Yogi Babu makes him laugh with his one-liners and tells him how fate played a cruel trick on him, causing him to clash with his teachers and receive poor grades. Congratulations on casting a young actor who bears a striking resemblance to Yogi Babu. Ramya Nambesan shines as the spinless teacher in both the young and old costumes. Doss Arul, Venu Nedumudi, Mahendran Y Gee, and the King Dog are the story’s illuminating characters.
This light-hearted drama based on the life of legendary comedy actor Innocent passes muster.
Navarasa Review For Payasam
Payasam, a 33-minute episode in Navarasa, is about a father’s disdain for life because his daughter is unfair and his inability to restore the lost colors. This 1965 film is about a dissatisfied villager who expresses his insecurity during the marriage ceremony.
As the character, Delhi Ganesh has been a jealous and inept elderly man. In this role, no other actor could have been more convincing. Despite the fact that Rohini, who leads him in a positive direction, is a hallucinating husband, Rohini is the wife everyone desires. She balances his life’s vacuum and personality. Aditi Balan, Delhi Ganesh’s widowed daughter, performed admirably. While we believe her expression of disgust says it all, we believe she has been underutilized.
Filmmaking, on the other hand, is simply amazing. The frames are smoother and the configuration and location are more accurate. Director Vasanth should be recognized for his ability to condense Kumbakonam’s beauty and tradition into just 30 minutes. His success in this film is in making audiences sympathize with a villain’s pitiful mindset. To summarise, Payasam is a story that reveals the darker side of each person he wishes to conceal.
Navarasa Review For Roudhram
Navarasa’s Roudhram episode directed by Arvind Swamy represents the ras Anger. The story is about the lives of police inspector Anbukkarasi and a teenage boy Arul. The lead roles were played by Sree Raam, Riythvika, Ramesh Thilak, Geetha Kailasam, Abhinayashree. The plot begins with Arul trying to kill a money lender and ending up in remand. Meanwhile, an angry lady cop is in the investigation of a serious case. The remaining part of the episode fills up with the reason behind the murder.
The Roudhram episode shows the regretful outcomes of sudden anger. All the cast has done a splendid performance. With this one, Arvind Swamy proves himself as a great filmmaker.
A.R. Rahman’s music and Santhosh Sivan’s Visuals literally take us into the story. Dialogues by Madhan Karky and Selva have to be applauded. Finally, Roudhram is worth watching.
