According to Asaduddin, Owaisi counsels Akhilesh Yadav on his Jinnah statement.
The BJP has targeted Akhilesh Yadav over remarks he made at an open gathering in which he included Jinnah alongside Gandhi, Nehru, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
After Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav was chastised for citing Mohammad Ali Jinnah as a symbol of India’s freedom struggle, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi advised him to “learn some history.”
At a public event, Akhilesh Yadav, according to the BJP, insulted Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah by using the same vocabulary as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
After attending the same law school, all four of these leaders went on to become barristers. They went on to become barristers and battled heroically for India’s independence. The Samajwadi Party chief declared in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, where he was campaigning for the state election early next year, “They never gave up on anything.
Before the elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath referred to it as a “Talibani worldview.” Before the polls, the BJP accused Mr Yadav of “Muslim appeasement.”
Asaduddin Owaisi, a member of parliament from Hyderabad, jumped on the remark as well.
When it comes to Akhilesh Yadav, he is mistaken in believing that by making such utterances, he can appease a segment of the population. Mr. Owaisi suggested that he educate himself by reading some history.
Akhilesh Yadav needs to understand that Indian Muslims have nothing in common with Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Rather than subscribing in a two-nation notion, our forefathers picked India as their home.
Amit Shah, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, has already apologised to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In an attempt to elevate Jinnah by linking him to Sardar Patel, he demonstrated his divisive tendencies once more. As a way of life, Talibanism emphasises divisiveness. “The national president of the Samajwadi Party should apologise for this,” stated Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) criticised Akhilesh Yadav, a former ally, during the 2019 general elections. She claimed that Yadav’s remarks were part of an effort by the BJP and other political parties to split voters ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections.
It’s been argued that the SP and BJP policies go hand in hand. These two groups are interdependent if they are to live because of their communal and casteist worldviews. As a result, the BJP grows stronger when the SP is in power and weaker when the BSP is “Mayawati elaborated.
