On Tuesday, August 23, Adani Group firms proposed acquiring a 26 percent stake in New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV), following the acquisition of a 29.18 percent stake in the media and news telecaster.Three firms, Vishvapradhan Commercial Pvt Ltd, alongside AMG Media Networks and Adani Enterprises Ltd, have offered a cost of Rs 294 for the obtaining of up to 1,676,530 completely settled value portions of NDTV, having a presumptive worth of Rs 4 from the public investors.

A public declaration has been made by JM Financial Ltd, which is dealing with the proposal in the interest of the acquirers.
The deal said, “The proposition cost is higher than not set in stone as per Regulation 8(2) of the SEBI (SAST) Regulations.” On the BSE on Tuesday, NDTV shares closed at Rs 366.20, up 2.61 percent from the previous close. Its income for the monetary year ended March 31, 2022, was Rs 230.91 crore.
