The Department of Higher Education has announced that direct classes will be held 6 days a week in colleges and universities in Tamil Nadu.
Due to the corona problem in Tamil Nadu, classes were conducted ‘online’. For students studying at home, three semester exams were conducted online. In this case, the Department of Higher Education announced that students must come directly to the colleges and participate in the semester exams to be held next month. The students protested against this decision.
Following this, the Department of Higher Education announced that the direct semester examination will be conducted and after an additional one month, the direct semester examinations for college students will be conducted from Jan. 20.
In this context, in a statement issued today (Nov. 22) on behalf of the Department of Higher Education, ‘Direct classes should be conducted 6 days a week in colleges and universities.
