Breathing Exercises For Lungs

Pursed Lip Breathing
- Sit in a comfortable position
- Keep the palms on your stomach
- Inhale deeply and then hold for 2 seconds
- Now exhale by making your lips into a slight pout
- Relax your body for 4 seconds
- Repeat the same steps 20 times at least
Deep Breathing
- Stand or sit in a comfortable position
- Stretch your chest outwards
- Now inhale and then hold for 5 seconds
- Now exhale
- Relax your body
- Repeat the same at least 20 times
Alternate Nostril Breathing
- Sit in the cross-legged position
- Your back should be straight
- Keep your right hand near to your nose
- Press one nostril with the thumb finger and another one with the middle finger
- Now open one nostril and inhale
- Have a deep breath and close the nostril by pressing
- By using another nostril perform exhale
- Carry out the same steps and keep altering between nostrils
