Tamil Nadu is worse than Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh ..!
Do you know how Tamil Nadu, which was in the top 3 in the list of Indian states in terms of sustainable growth, is today, ahead of Maharashtra in the top 18 states in terms of per capita income and next to Gujarat?
Even though Tamil Nadu has an astonishingly beautiful history, what is the future competitiveness of Tamil Nadu at present ..?!
17 years of growth path
The list lists the changes that have taken place in the last 17 years in the state’s GDP growth compared to 7 states which have better trade growth, higher than the average per capita income of 18 major states.
8 major states
Let us first look at the economic growth and Indian growth of the 8 states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. We will divide this 17 year period into two parts 2005-2012 and 2012-2019.
2005-2012 GSTB
India’s GDP growth during this period was 8.2 per cent
Andhra Pradesh – 7.4 percent
Gujarat – 9.9 percent
Haryana – 9.2 per cent
Karnataka – 7.9 per cent
Kerala – 7.8 percent
Maharashtra – 9.4 percent
Tamil Nadu – 10.3 percent
Telangana – 11.3 percent
2012-2019 GSTB

GDP of Tamil Nadu
India’s economy has fallen -1.3 percent during these two periods. But Tamil Nadu’s GDP has fallen by 3.2 per cent, almost 3 times. Similarly, Telangana has declined by -3.4 per cent.
Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan
Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan said on his Twitter account that the economy of Tamil Nadu has been declining since I was an MLA. He referred to it as these data that proved it.
Jayalalithaa case
Similarly, the economic scale of Tamil Nadu would have been even worse before and after 2014. That is, before and after former chief minister Jayalalithaa was convicted in an embezzlement case.
Tamil Nadu is bad
Compared to the two periods 2005-2012 and 2012-2019, Tamil Nadu lags behind Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat and Maharashtra. In short, it ranks last 2nd in the top 8 states selected.
Tamil Nadu (Madras)
After Indian independence, Tamil Nadu (Madras) grew slightly more than any other state. Madras, which was dominated by the Indian Congress Party until 1967, then underwent tremendous growth under the domination of the Justice Party and the Dravidian parties.
2 crore Tamils
About 2 crore people from Tamil Nadu dominate the global trade sector like no other state in India. They work especially in the Gulf countries, Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.
All sector development
On the one hand, Tamil Nadu has become a state for all, with sustainable development in all fields such as agriculture, industry, education, skills development, greater opportunity for the middle class, employment, medicine, transportation.
The last 10 years
But the Indian economy has recorded worse-than-expected growth in the last 10 years. How is Tamil Nadu recovering from this decline? Will the government led by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin bring the state back to the path of development ..?! is the question I’m everyone’s mind now.
