To attack inside of the Jammu Air Force Base, two drones were used, on Sunday.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel presented at the airbase of Jammu acted quickly when they hear two drones entered to carry out explosions. An investigation has started on this case.
Around 1.30 AM, the sounds of drones, those are entering into the Jammu airbase were heard by the two personnel who are deployed at that place.
Sources that are involved in the investigation said “Two personnel were on alert at their respective positions and heard the drone sounds entering into the area. Later hearing those sounds within a span of 30 seconds only, blasts have happened.”
Immediately, after the blasts, the personnel went to that blast area and rescued one person who was in the room near the blasting area. As the personnel did not have their lights on, so they could not able to see the drones.
Whatever the statements given by the personnel are most helpful for the investigators to find further information of this case, sources said.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is dealing with this case. That two witnessed personnel would provide information to the NIA. A high alert has been put on all airbases in order to prevent any terror attacks.
In the present blasts, no aircraft was damaged and that two personnel also have small injuries only, sources said.
