IGRSUP Registration 2024: IGRS UP is the dedicated portal of the Stamp and Registration Department of Uttar Pradesh, through which people can avail of property-related online services. By using this portal, you can access online certified copies of deeds, information on specific properties, etc.
What is IGRS UP?
The inspector-general of registration and stamps (IGRS) of UP is responsible for levying taxes on transactions related to the property and generating the revenue for the growth of the state.
Various types of stamps in UP
There are 3 different kinds of stamps for indicating the payment of duty under IGRS UP.
- Impressed stamps are stamped papers with the words printed as “India non-judicial”
- Impressed stamps consisting of the word ‘Hundi’ printed thereon
- Adhesive stamps having the words ‘Foreign Bill’, ‘Share Transfer’, ‘Notarial’, ‘Special Adhesive Insurance’, ‘Brokers Note’, ‘Agreement’, or ‘Revenue’ printed thereon

Steps to search property information on IGRS UP
- Login to the IGRSUP official website, igrsup.gov.in
- On the left-hand side, the property search option will be presented
- Click on that option
Searching of the property can be done based on the below categories and you can confirm the exact location, legality, and ownership details.
- Address of the property (details of deeds registered before 5th December 2017).
- Property address (details of deeds registered after 5th December 2017).
- Name of the Buyer (details of deeds registered before 5th December 2017).
- Seller’s name (details of deeds registered before 5th December 2017).
- Buyer’s name (details of deeds registered after 5th December 2017).
- Registration number and registration date/registration year.
- Seller’s name (details of deeds registered after 5th December 2017).
How to get property details on IGRS UP
- First of all, login in the IGRSUP’s official website
- Hit in the property details tab or ‘सम्पत्ति विवरण’
- Select rural or urban property
- Choose the district and provide a property ID
IGRSUP Registration for Property
In the Uttar Pradesh state, you can register the property online through the IGRS Up website. To successfully complete the IGRSUP registration for your property, follow the below steps.
- Go to the Uttar Pradesh IGRS’s official website
- Under the property registration tab, click the ‘आवेदन करें’ option
- Click on the New Applicant option
- Choose the details of property like district, tehsil, sub-registrar
- Enter mobile number, password, and captcha
After providing all the details, proceed with the sign-in option. If you are a registered member then you can directly go through the user-login option.
- Select the registration required document
- Add the deed presenter’s name and contact number
- Now, you have to provide details like tehsil, type of arear, property type
- Add the details about the valuation of the property
- If sub-clause is applicable then add that info too
- Upload every necessary document
- Give the information of other parties involved in the transaction
- Add the information of two witnesses
- Choose deed document and click the save option
- Pay the amount for this service. you can choose the comfortable option to pay
- Have the print-out for any future references
- After the completion of this process, for further verification, visit the sub-registrar office on working days.
Guide to avail of registered document service with IGRS UP
- Log in to the official portal of IGRSUP
- Go on with the ‘Application of registered document certificate’ or ‘पंजीकृत लेखपत्र का प्रमाणपत्र’ option
- Give the details of district, SRO, registration year, registration number, registration deska, property type, applicants’ numbers, and captcha, to proceed.
