Miss Universe 2024 Harnaaz Sandhu: The 21-year-old Harnaaz Sandhu from Punjab, India won the new Miss Universe 2024 title. She represented India at the 70th Miss Universe 2024, held in Eilat, Israel, and brought the crown after 21 years. The last Indian who won this title was Lara Dutta in 2000.
To claim the Crown, Harnaaz Sandhu edged out contestants Paraguay and South Africa. She was presented the crown by the former Miss Universe 2024, Andrea Meza from Mexico. This event was live-streamed globally.
The first and the second runner-up were from Paraguay and South Africa respectively.
The model cum Actress Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe India 2024 in October. She started her beauty pageant journey with Times Fresh Face in 2017. Currently, the diva is pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Administration. She holds multiple titles such as Femina Miss India Punjab, 2019, etc. Sandhu has starred in many Punjabi movies.
