International Chef’s Day 2024: While eating food at a restaurant or hotel, we are impressed with the delicious meals’ taste but never think about who made the dishes that much tasty. A chef not just cooks the food but also makes it presentable to serve. No matter, how much we hail them that praise fell short. Hence, every year on 20th October, International Chef’s Day is observed to celebrate the Chef profession. The main motive of this Chefs’ Day is to appreciate chefs for their constant effort to serve the best food to people. This occasion is also used to create awareness about the chef’s profession.
International Chefs’ Day 2024: Theme
The theme for this year’s International Chefs’ Day is “Building Forward Together: Ending Persistent Poverty, Respecting all People and our Planet”. Last year’s theme was ‘Healthy Food for the Future’.

History & Significance
The International Chef’s Day was first started in the year 2004 by a famous chef and former president of the World Association of Chefs Societies (Worldchefs), Late Dr. Bill Gallagher. It was a day that meant to create awareness about healthy food and honor the profession. World Chefs have been working altogether on educating the world about more aspects, benefits, varieties of food.
