International Men’s Day: International Men’s Day is celebrated annually on November 19, 2024, and the main motive of this day is to improve gender relations and promote positive expressions of masculinity.
International Men’s Day helps to recognize and celebrate men and boys and their contribution to union, community, nation, society, marriage, family, and children.

International Men’s Day History
Thomas Oaster was a director of the Missouri Center for Men’s Studies, he invited organizations from the US, Australia, and Malta to conduct small events with the aim of celebrating International Men’s Day in February month. In 1995, very few organizations attended the event which resulted in the discontinuation of the function.
In 1999, Jerome Teelucksingh understood the importance of male role models and chose to celebrate International Men’s Day on November 19. The day intends to highlight the importance of men’s mental and physical health and positive masculinity.
