The storm meeting of Parliament is probably going to be held from July 18 to August 12, sources said on Tuesday. The last approach is yet to be made, they added. As per top sources, the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, led by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, has suggested that the rainstorm meeting be held between July 18 and August 12, 2024.
The forthcoming meeting is probably going to have 17 working days. During the meeting, decisions for the President and Vice President are probably going to be made. While the Election Commission of India (ECI) has reported the official decisions, no authority plan for the appointment of the Vice President has been declared at this point.
The official races will happen on July 18, and the outcomes will be proclaimed on July 21. The term of Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will end on August 10. A few bills, including something like four bills that were alluded to for parliamentary examination in the last spending plan meeting, will be raised for the section in the storm meet.
