Ola S1 Vs S1 Pro: An Expensive Variant? Cheap variant?
In this post, we will look at the differences between the S1 variant and the S1 Pro variant of Ola’s first electric scooter, which was recently introduced.
The highly anticipated Ola electric scooter was officially launched in S1 and S1 Pro variants last Independence Day. In Tamil Nadu, the e-scooter is priced at Rs 99,999 (S1) and Rs 1.29 lakh (S1 Pro).

There is a difference of Rs.30,000 between the two in terms of price. Both are fitted with identical electric motor belt-drive end drive mechanisms. But the two differ in the amount of range available through the battery

This means that the lithium-iron battery packs offered in the Ola S1 variant can deliver a range of up to 121 km, while the range of the S1 Pro variant is certified as 181 km.
As the battery packs vary, the time required to charge them also varies depending on the variant. That means the Ola S1 scooter, which comes with a lower capacity battery, will take less time to charge than the S1 Pro.
Both of these are provided with a battery management system. This allows you to constantly monitor battery life, performance, range, and safety. The S1 Pro comes as a faster variant with a larger battery.

This variant can reach speeds of 0 to 40kmph in at least 3 seconds. But the S1 variant will take 3.6 seconds. The top speed of the S1 Pro is 115kmph. But the top speed of the S1 is only 90 km / h.
However, the Ola S1 variant is not much better compared to the e-scooters currently on sale in India. Otherwise, the two are identical in evolutionary scales. This can be clearly seen from the table below.

The length of the Ola electric scooter in these two variants is 1,859 mm. Wheelbase size 1359mm. The height of the seat from the floor is 792 mm. But the S1 Pro weighs 4 kg more than the S1 variant due to its larger battery.
The Ola electric scooter comes with a 6kg battery pack. But the weight of the battery in the S1 Pro is slightly higher than this. In both cases, there is a complete digestive tract with two helmets under the seat.
The S1 variant also accepts most of the technical features that the S1 Pro receives. The S1 Pro variant comes with voice support, hill hold control, and cruise control at an extra cost.
The Ola S1 Scooter is available in five colors: Silver, Sky Blue, Red, Black, and Yellow. The S1 Pro, meanwhile, will be available in a total of 10 different color choices, with an additional 5 colors in addition to these 5 colors.
