Chennai: Kumari Ananthan, a senior Congress leader and father of Telangana Governor Tamizhai Saundarajan, has lauded Chief Minister Stalin for initiating the sale of palm kernels in ration shops across Tamil Nadu.
Kumari Ananthan is one of the voices who continues to pass on palm products to the next generation.
It is noteworthy that he has been demanding for many years that the government should sell palm oil in fair price shops.
In his congratulatory message praising Stalin;
It is very commendable that the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin has started the practice of selling palm oil in fair price shops in Sayalgudi, Ramanathapuram under the name of ‘Karbagam’.
Black blood cells, also known as thymine, riboflavin, B vitamins, and nicotinic acid, B 3, and ascorbic acid, C, are found in black blood cells. These are essential for the development of the human body. These will reach all the people through the fair price shop, ration shop.
Similarly making soap made from neem, cactus and herbs are good deeds done for the benefit of the people. I greatly welcome the launch of a training center for these. Are actions that go hand in hand with the development of human life in conjunction with nature.
I appreciate the encouragement given to the weavers by distributing the famous, traditional silk sarees woven in Arani, Salem, Coimbatore, Chinnalapatti, Dindigul and Paramakudi, Jamukkalam, Kanchipuram silk scarves and shirts for sale under the title ‘Tamilthari’.
If the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu continues to make these efforts, the identity of the Tamils will be preserved and there will definitely be an opportunity to go to a higher level. I congratulate the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for making such efforts, ”Kumari Ananthan said in her congratulatory message.
Chief’s arbitrary bonus announcement .. Big disappointment .. Union executives

In a statement issued yesterday, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu said, “All ‘C’ and ‘D’ category workers and employees working in all for-profit / loss-making public sector undertakings will be given a bonus of 8.33 per cent and a gratuity of 1.67 per cent, up to a total of 10 per cent bonus and gratuity.

Severe dissatisfaction
The unions have been asked to submit bonus requests for 2020-21 to their respective administrations, negotiate and declare bonuses. The chief minister’s announcement, which was ready for talks, has caused strong dissatisfaction among workers.
Chief
Such an attitude of the state is to follow the attitude of the previous AIADMK regime. Therefore, the Chief Minister should come forward to negotiate with the unions and resolve the bonus issue.
Transport staff
Tamil Nadu State Transport Workers’ Federation (AITUC) General Secretary R. Arumugam: We demanded a minimum 25 per cent bonus for transport workers.
Disappointing
If the unions had been called directly, the opportunity would have arisen. The bonus announcement currently being made by the Tamil Nadu government has caused frustration among workers.
Not trying
Tasmac Employees State Congress General Secretary Tiruchelvan:
The chief minister’s arbitrary announcement of a 10 per cent bonus has been a major disappointment to employees, as petitions have been filed for a 20 per cent bonus and a 20 per cent gratuity for Tasmac employees, who earn more than any other state-owned company, and the administration has made no attempt to negotiate.
