PM Jan Dhan Yojana Registration 2024: Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana scheme is launched by the government of India to provide easy access to financial services like Credit, Insurance, Savings, Deposits accounts to required and poor sections in the society.
The PMJDY scheme was launched in the month of August 2014. As per the Ministry of Finance, more than 4 crore bank accounts have been opened till September 2014. Some of the financial services that are offered to individuals under the PM Jan Dhan Scheme are insurance, pension, and banking.
PMJDY Eligibility
To open a Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana account, individuals must meet the following criteria
- Must be an Indian citizen
- At least 10 years of age
- One should not have any bank account
Required Documents
If you are willing to open a PMJDY account then you must submit some documents. They are:
- Aadhaar
- Passport
- PAN card
- NREGA (National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) issued job card
- Voter ID
- Photograph
- Driving license
- Photograph

- For the PM Jan Dhan Yojana Registration 2024, visit the PMJDY’s official website at www.pmjdy.gov.in
- You will be on the home page of PMJDY
- Go to the section of e-Documents
- In that section, you can find the Account Opening Form link (Hindi & English forms are available)
- Click on that link and download the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana application form
- Fill the application form thoroughly
- Attach the required documents along with the application and then submit in the chosen bank
