“Our parents have taught us to respect seniors,” Tejashwi Yadav, the younger of Lalu Yadav’s sons, has reportedly said about his elder brother Tej Pratap in a new tussle between the two political siblings from Bihar.
Tejashwi Yadav has decided to be firm with his older brother Tej Pratap, according to sources who spoke to NDTV. This decision comes amid a resurgent fight within the Rashtriya Janata Dal, in which Tej Pratap has targeted the party’s Bihar unit president Jagada Nand Singh, who is also the party’s most senior member.
Despite the fact that Tej Pratap is the elder brother, Tejashwi has sent out a message to him, according to reports. “Our parents have taught us to respect elders and be disciplined, even if bitterness and fury are widespread in politics,” Tejashwi’s message to Tej Pratap reads.
The swipe came as the proxy battle between the two brothers erupted once more in the last few days, with Tejashwi, the one with more clout in the party, removing the party’s student unit chief, a move that infuriated Tej Pratap, who is the other brother.
Akash Yadav, Tej Pratap’s disciple, was a victim of the sibling rivalry when he was attacked by his brother. According to reliable sources, Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Yadav’s younger son and political heir, got the implicit agreement of his father.
It is believed by RJD sources that Lalu Yadav has reached a point of no return with regard to Tej Pratap, who has been a continual source of embarrassment for the party with his provocative utterances, his fondness for posing in costumes, and his troubled marriage.
