Russia has abolished the high age limit for military service in the country. A document published on the official website says that President Vladimir Putin has signed a law that abolishes the high age limit.
According to a CGTN report, the new law removes the age limit for Russian citizens and foreigners from unemployment.
Russia’s parliament on Wednesday passed a bill to abolish the high age limit for those who want to serve in the military under the treaty.
Previously, Russian citizens aged 18–40 and foreigners aged 18–30 had the right to terminate their first military service contract. The news comes even though the war between Russia and Ukraine begins in the fourth month on Tuesday.
