Shane Warne, the legendary Australian spin bowler and one of the best cricketers of all time has died aged fifty-two suspected of a heart attack in Asian Nation, Thailand as per media reports.
The Statement from Warne’s management added: “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the most effective efforts of medical staff, he couldn’t be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further information in due course.”
Warne attained 708 wickets for Australia, the second-highest tally of all time just behind only Sri Lankan player Muttiah Muralitharan. He was instrumental in leading Australia’s era of dominance through the 1990s and 2000s shoulder to shoulder with fellow cricketers like, Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, and Glenn McGrath winning the 1999 World Cup and 5 Ashes series. He was banned in 2003 for taking a prohibited substance – which he goddamned on his mother for giving him some kind of water pills to ‘improve his looks’. However, returning in 2004 and also the Third Ashes Test of 2005, he became the primary bowler in history to achieve 600 Test wickets.
Off the sphere, beloved by the British News took their toll on his wedding and he split from better half Simone, mother of his 3 kids. He was magnificently pictured within the News of the World in his undergarment with famous models following his divorce.
Post-retirement, Warne magnificently guided Rajasthan Royals to a fairy-tale title win in the introductory season of the Indian Premier League in 2008 by taking charge of their captain and instructor.
Only March 4th, Warne had tweeted his tribute to the passing of fellow Australian great Rod Marsh, the former wicketkeeper who passed away aged seventy-four on Friday.
