Actor Siddharth, Mani Ratnam’s Multi-Starrer Aayutha Ezhuthu fame has hit the headlines once again for all the wrong reasons. Responding to badminton player Sain Nehwal’s tweet about Prime Minister Modi’s security breach in Punjab, the actor tweeted, “Subtle cock champion of the world… Thank God we have protectors of India. Shame you #Rihanna”.
Siddharth is being bashed for his derogatory remarks on Saina. Many celebrities also called out for his comment. Nehwal responded to the tweet of Siddharth saying he could have expressed himself with better words.
In an interview, she said, “Yeah, I am not sure what does he meant. I used to like him as an actor but this was not nice. He can express himself with better words but I guess it’s Twitter and you remain noticed with such words and comments”.
As per the latest reports, the NCW (National Commission for Women), in a letter to police authorities of Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, asked to file an FIR against the actor for his remarks on Saina Nehwal that are “lewd and misogynist.” She also asked Twitter India to block the account of Siddharth.
