During Durga Puja, Hindus in Bangladesh were attacked by Trinamool Congress members, who claimed the attacks were part of a “planned plot.” They have enquired about them with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The TMC accused the government of a “planned plot” and questioned Prime Minister Modi’s “inactivity” during Bangladesh’s Durga Puja festival.
An official from Jago Bangla has questioned both the Prime Minister’s and his own motives for visiting Bengal during the Bengal Assembly elections.
This begs the question of why Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who travelled to Bangladesh to pay his respects during the elections, remained completely silent throughout the process.
Did the Prime Minister intend to incite Hindu sentiments in Bengal in light of recent developments in Bangladesh?
“Or, if you can show Hindu oppression in Bangladesh, can you incite Hindu sentiment in Bengal?” it asked. We all want a thorough investigation into what happened in Bangladesh.”
The TMC went on to say that what occurred in Bangladesh during Durga Puja was “unjust” and “planned,” and that ordinary Hindus and Muslims were unaffected. The person who devised this scheme had a good reason. Let’s look at it more closely. Minorities in the area understandably fear for their lives.”
Furthermore, the Hasina administration is enforcing stringent policies. Bangladeshis have taken to the streets in protest, processions, and large rallies as a result of the attack. A number of Muslim organisations have expressed their displeasure. TMC referred to this area as “Bangladesh’s beating heart.”
