- Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev has lived in his role. His makeup, bowling has been done superbly
- Deepika Padukone played the Kapil’s wife role and looks decent
- Pankaj Tripathi as an Indian Team Manger is quite good
- Tamil actor Jiva played the Krish Srikanth role and justified his role

- As the world cup was won very back, many of us did not know what happened actually. The players could have been introduced in a better manner
- There is not much drama in the first half, even though the script has a good scope for it
Technical Aspects
The setup, VFX, camerawork, and the manner the stadium is recreated are top class. Music and BG<M could have been better. Editing can be good a bit in the first half of 83. Director Kabir Khan has done a decent job with this film. He recreated the matches and tension quite well.
