Lala Lajpat Rai was one of the freedom fighters who fought for the Independence of India. Fondly referred to as Punjab Kesari, he was born in 1865. Lala Lajpat Rai was an author and politician. He was part of the Lal-Bal-Pal trio.
Lala Lajpat Rai had played a key role in the formation of the Punjab National Bank. From studying in Lahore to being a pillar of nationalism in India, Rai played many roles. He took his last breath on 17th November 1928.
