After the acquisition of Geo NetMets and Tata 1MG, Pharmaceuticals and Medlip merged to create a wholly-owned business. Amazon has since launched the ePharmacy business, which is currently affiliated with Flipkart.

It is safe to say that this time around the Central Rural Development Ministry and Flipkart have teamed up for an important project that has created new confidence among ecommerce sector based companies.
Deendayal Andyodaya Yojana
The Central Government has decided to sell the products made by lakhs of artisans under the Deendayal Andyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Movement (DAY-NRLM) project to the people across India through the eCommerce platform.
Craftsmen
The Central Ministry of Rural Development has teamed up with Flipkart for a project to export products made by artisans across India. Through this alliance, Flipkart will be able to sell these products to 10 crore customers.
Agreement
The agreement has been signed by Flipkart and the Ministry of Rural Development. Although Flipkart was started in India, it is registered in Singapore and is owned and operated by Walmart in the United States.
National Rural Livelihood Movement
Through this alliance, millions of artisans across India under the Deendayal Andyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Movement (DAY-NRLM) program will not only gain greater trade but also increase productivity. Female artisans in particular will benefit the most.
