Rakhi Sawant, a Bigg Boss 14 finalist, has stated that her marriage to an NRI called Ritesh is ‘illegal.’ Rakhi mentioned Ritesh several times throughout the just finished season of Bigg Boss, but his identity remained a mystery.
While Rakhi and her family emphasized that Ritesh is a real person, many people assumed that the mystery spouse’s story was a PR hoax. Rakhi elected to quit the competition with a cash award of Rs 14 lakh, therefore eliminating herself from contention for the grand prize, which was won by Rubina Dilaik in Sunday’s finale.
Rakhi hinted at ‘divorce procedures’ when discussing Ritesh in an interview with Pinkvilla. She admitted that she was ‘broken from the inside’ before entering the competition. She then on in Hindi, “My marital problems persisted… The breakup… On the day of our wedding, my spouse abandoned me. He stated that he did not want to deal with the media. Chemotherapy was being administered to my mum.”
Rakhi claimed she overcome the ‘traumas,’ but she doesn’t see Ritesh as a future partner. Ritesh was already married and had a child, she said on the episode.
When asked when she plans to present Ritesh to the world, she replied, “Let me get to know him first. I’m still waiting to hear how he reacted to what I stated about him on the broadcast. I don’t want to spoil his life; he and his wife should be happy. He adored me, and he adored my persona. However, he married me to save me from a bad circumstance. He became stuck. He’s a lovely man, and I adore him, but we don’t have any interests. Because my marriage is a violation of the law. I can’t demolish someone else’s home to construct my own.”
She went on to say, “Ritesh accepted my proposal to marry me. I started making plans for the wedding, but he never showed up. When he eventually chose to arrive, a few reporters learned about our wedding, and Ritesh made his way out of the hotel’s rear room where we were married.” On a lighter side, she remarked that if the law allowed it, she’d happily remain on as Ritesh’s second wife.
