Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy movie hit theatres on Friday and opened up well with positive talk. The film is performing quite well in Telangana, meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, it is facing a lot of problems because of low ticket prices and the theatres’ seizure.
Andhra Pradesh state conducted rides on Theatres and many cinema halls have been seized by the local authorities, quoting various reasons. Nani’s latest comments on the AP tickets issue created controversy and the producers and distributors of the film are also facing huge losses.
Hero Nani expressed his displeasure over the low ticket prices, calling it an insult to the audience. The YS Jagan government had issued the G.O. 35 in order to prohibit high ticket rates.
Nani in one of his recent interviews said there is no unity among Tollywood stars. The actor said, “Had the entire top actors come together when problems arose during the ‘Vakeel Saab’ movie released, the situation would not be like this.”
Despite all the issues, Shyam Singha Roy directed by Taxiwala fame Rahul Sankrityan is having a terrific run at the box office. On its opening day, the movie collected an amount of 4.17 Crore INR and has managed to go up to 10 Crore INR on Day 3 of its release.
