Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhary is fighting breast cancer as the veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a video and called her a hero.
He shared a clip on Instagram and said that she wanted him to disclose this news to her fans.
Posting the clip featuring Mahima Choudhary, Anupam wrote: “Story of @mahimachaudhry1’s courage and Cancer: I called #MahimaChaudhary a month back from the US to play a key role in my 525th movie #TheSignature. Our conversation has turned to her discovering that she has Breast Cancer.”
“She is BACK to the sets where she belongs and is ready to fly. All those directors/producers out there! Here is your opportunity to tap on her brilliance! Jai ho to her! #Cancer #Hope #Courage #Prayersss.”
In the video, Mahima revealed that the 67-year-old actor called her to do his movie when she was in the hospital for the treatment.
She said that she has been receiving calls for work but she could not say yes due to no hair.
Later she broke down and said that she asked Anupam Kher if she can do his movie with a wig.
Mahima Choudhary added, “I had no cancer symptoms but it was diagnosed in regular checkups.”
On the work front, the actress has last seen in the “Dark Chocolate” (2016) movie.
