Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar released a slew of photos from their wedding ceremony on Wednesday. On Saturday, February 19, the pair married in a small ceremony.
The couple took their time sharing photos from their wedding, but it was well worth the wait. Farhan and Shibani posted several candid photos from their wedding, demonstrating that they had a great time. Shabana Azmi has now released a photo of the Akhtar family, welcoming Shibani into the fold.
Shabana Khan took to Instagram to share a cheerful family photo with Javed Akhtar, Farhan’s mother Honey Irani, Zoya Akhtar, Farhan’s daughters Shakya and Akira Akhtar, and cousin Farah Khan, among others.
“Happy family welcomes darling #Shibani into the family fold,” Shabana captioned the photo on Instagram. Shibani responded with heart emoticons in the comments section. On her Instagram Stories, she also shared a photo with Farhan in which the two were seen sharing an emotional moment.
In the presence of relatives and a few friends, Farhan and Shibani exchanged vows. Hrithik Roshan was one of the few guests that attended the wedding.
Over the weekend, a video of Farhan and Hrithik dancing atop Senorita during the wedding went viral. The actors, who appeared together in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, attempted to recall the song’s moves and came close to recreating the choreography.
