What is Muhurat Trading?
Muhurat trading is the auspicious stock market trading on Deepawali (Diwali) for an hour. It is a symbolic and old ritual that has been observed and retained for ages by the trading community. This practice was started on BSE and NSE in 1957 and 1992 respectively.
The BSE and NSE will be closed for two days from tomorrow. As per the stock market holiday calendar by BSE, there will be no action in the Derivative, Equity, and SLB segments on these days.
