What 12th graders can study – a piece of advice for students!
There are job opportunities all over the world. We have to develop the qualifications for it. None of these fields are exceptional. It is said that the last hundred years have witnessed an unprecedented level of economic crisis. As well as the spread of corona the jobs of the people of the world and the nature of work are changing. Fear of a third wave of corona aside is making people panic.
Education is often done online. Similarly, the tendency to work from home has increased. Job losses have increased worldwide. In this context, questions have been raised by students and parents about what further 12th graders can study and what their future career prospects will be. As well as a kind of confusion can be seen to exist. This year this mess is seen more than in the past.
This year, statistics show that the number of students joining arts and science colleges is higher than the number of students enrolling in engineering courses. There are various reasons for this. Unemployment of many who have studied engineering for the past few years and the economic loss of parents who lost income during the Corona period is considered to be the main reason. However, we must also keep in mind that not everyone who has studied engineering is without a job.
We live together as a community. Life is all-encompassing. Have food here too. We need medicine, we need teachers, we need artists, we need factories, we need mathematicians and scientists. If we look at how many departments a person lives with social relationships in a day we can see different facts. Can we live without electricity? Do days go by without seeing the arts and listening to songs? So, all sectors are essential sectors.
We need to keep one thing in mind. Studying should not be seen as just about making money. It should solve problems in the community and make life simpler and easier. So it is important for students to choose their preferred field and gain in-depth knowledge in it. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently came up with an idea. Employers do not have an integrated worldview to do their job better and find solutions to problems. Do not have sufficient skills in their field. In particular, this trend is more prevalent in India. Therefore, the education system should be adjusted accordingly.
So, there are job opportunities all over the world. We must develop the qualifications for it. None of these fields are exceptional. Artificial intelligence technology has been playing a very important role in recent times. If everyone chooses this field for it, will everyone get a job? Isn’t there a need for agronomists? Don’t have economists for that?
Therefore, students will definitely get a job if they join the course in which they are interested and get an in-depth look at it. The problems of the community will also lead to the solution. If parents take into account the wishes and interests of the students, instead of forcing them to study the subjects they want, they will guide the students and encourage them to study further.
