Nusrat Jahan referred to Yash Dasgupta as her husband and father in an Instagram storey that included a photo of her birthday cake. “Happy birthday” was written in icing on top of “happy birthday,” with the words “husband” and “dad” underneath. It was the first time Nusrat Bharucha referred to Yash Dasgupta as her “husband,” implying that the couple is married, and it sparked an Internet firestorm. Nusrat was also addressing the baby’s father, according to her Instagram posts.
Nusrat Jahan gave birth to a son on August 26th; she and her ex-husband Nikhil Jain divorced not long ago. Nusrat Jahan claimed earlier this year that her marriage was illegal in India. In response to a question from The Times of India about having a child out of wedlock, Nusrat Jahan stated: “How many people are aware that the child was born out of wedlock? Just because we don’t discuss it doesn’t mean what they’re saying isn’t true.”
Nusrat Jahan is well-known for her roles in Asur and Kelor Kirti, as well as her time as a Trinamool Congress MP, in addition to her work in Bengali films such as Zulfiqar and Har Har Byomkesh.
