Ivana Trump, the ex-wife of former US President Donald Trump, passed away at the age of 73 years on Thursday (local time). Donald Trump told media outlets that Ivana died at her home located in New York.
Paramedics in Manhattan were the first to respond to a call reporting cardiac arrest and found her in her Upper East Side apartment. She was pronounced dead at that time.

The Police said the paramedics said they found her at the bottom of the stairs in her apartment. The police are investigating how she fell and if she fell, how did it lead to her death. A medical examiner will let the cause of her death, news agency ABC reported.
Donald Trump issued a statement on his social media platform named Truth Social. Trump described his former wife as a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led an inspirational and great life.
“Ivana Trump was a survivor. She taught her children about toughness, grit, compassion, and determination,” the family said in a statement. It further added, “Our mother was an incredible woman – a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and a caring mother & friend.”
Ivana Trump was the first spouse of Donald Trump and they got married in 1977. This couple had three children together: Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Donald Trump Jr.
Ivana Trump was born in Czechoslovakia on Feb 20, 1949, when it was under Communist rule. She left Czechoslovakia in the 1970s and came to the US where she worked as a senior executive in Trump’s business empire. She was also the CEO of Trump’s Castle, one of his hotel-casinos located in Atlantic City.
Ivana also helped in designing interiors for the Trump Tower and Grand Hyatt.
Ivana and Trump divorced in the year 1992 after the reports of an affair between Donald Trump and Marla Maples surfaced.
