Money Heist Season 5 Release Date, Parts & Episodes
When the Spanish series first aired in 2017, on Netflix, it became an international sensation. This year, the series is set to make a comeback with its fifth season. The original title for the show in Spanish reads as ‘La Casa de Papel’. On Netflix, this crime drama is the most-watched non-English series. Money Heist Season 4 which was aired in April month of 2020, broken all the previous records by garnering over 65 million views.
Season 5 Trailer & Easter Egg
On 2nd August 2024, the first trailer for Money Heist Season 5, vol. 1 was released by Netflix. As per the reports, Season 5 will have two more episodes compared to the previous seasons. A total of 10 seasons will be in the series. Volume 1 and 2 will most likely have 5 episodes each. The final season’s trailer has an Easter egg. During the credits, the resistance anthem, “Bella Ciao” was playing. Najwa Nimri performed the cover.
New Characters Introduced
Netflix presented the three new characters in the trailer that was released in August. They include Sagasta (José Manuel Seda), the commander of the Spanish Army Special Forces. The remaining cast members are Miguel Angel Silvestre and Patrick Criado. Patrick Criado is one of Money Heist Season 5’s youngest cast membres.

Season 4 Recap
The professor (Alvaro Morte) was captured by Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri), the pregnant inspector. At the end of the Money Heist Season 4, she had gone rogue. This season ends with a new rendition of Bella Ciao. The group has to find a way out of the Bank of Spain and has to work on the last phases of the heist. The gang is expected to have a difficult time fleeing the bank, with the military involved and the professor in danger. The gang continues to melt down the gold into small balls for extraction in 4th season.
