Significance of Maa Brahmacharini
Brahmacharini is a woman who possesses sacred religious knowledge, according to Vedic texts. She spends the entire time wearing only a white dress and bare feet. She holds a Japa mala in her right hand and a Kamandalu in her left. Lord Shiva’s maiden Parvati was married through the rite of Tapsya for thousands of years. She was a yogini and tapas connoisseur who lived in the mountains. Lord Shiva proposed to her as soon as she finished her penance.
She resides in the Svadhishthana Chakra. Lord Mangal is said to be ruled by Goddess Brahmcharini.
